The three winning photos will be published in the 2009 GRANDTRAVEL catalog and may be used on the GRANDTRAVEL website and in our advertisements.
Eligible Parties:
Both grandparents and grandchildren from the 2008 tours are eligible to participate in our contest. Possible Subject Matters:
- Grandparent and grandchild(ren) together on the GRANDTRAVEL trip
- Your GRANDTRAVEL Activity Director in action
- Your tour group
- A favorite sight
- A favorite activity with GRANDTRAVELERS
- A delicious GRANDTRAVEL meal
- Enjoying GRANDTRAVEL deluxe hotels
How to Enter:
Please include with each submission the following type-written information: your name, age (if under 18), category, complete contact information, including email address, street address, and phone number, as well as a brief description of each image including date and name of the trip.
What to submit:
Submit up to four photographs that were taken while you were traveling on a GRANDTRAVEL tour. You entries may be prints, transparencies or digital prints. Digital photos must be 1024 x 768 dpi or higher.
All photographs should accurately reflect the subject matter and the scene as it appeared in the viewfinder. Nothing should be added to an image and nothing should be taken away. Cropping and minor adjustments to color and contrast are acceptable. You must have in your possession the original of any print submitted. If an image is selected as a finalist, the original transparency, negative, or high-resolution electronic file maybe required prior to finalizing contest results.

Eligibility:
GRANDTRAVEL’S Photo Contest is open to Grandparents and Grandchildren who have traveled on any GRANDTRAVEL tour in the summer of 2008.
Rules:
To enter, participants must be amateur photographers, have traveled with GRANDTRAVEL, and cannot be employees of GRANDTRAVEL. Entries submitted may not have won any other photo contest. Winners will be selected from entries submitted by Grandparents and by Grandchildren.
Judging:
Members of the GRANDTRAVEL staff will make the final decision and the choice will be at their discretion.
Terms and Conditions:
Before winning photos are published, winners will be required to (1) provide model releases, (2) sign an affidavit indemnifying GRANDTRAVEL from any and all claims, including copyright infringements and violation of publicity rights, made in connection with the publishing of winning entries.
By entering the contest, entrants agree to assign their intellectual property rights to GRANDTRAVEL/Academic Travel Abroad, Inc. and permit GRANDTRAVEL/Academic Travel Abroad, Inc. to use the photos in any media, including the Internet.
Please Note:
Photographs will not be returned. By entering this contest, participants agree to waive any and all claims of liability against GRANDTRAVEL, Academic Travel Abroad, Inc. and their respective employees and agents, for any injury or loss that may occur from participation in this contest or receipt of a prize.
Participation in the contest constitutes acceptance of all contest rules.
